Artwork File Requirements

Accepted File Formats

Format Type Status Notes
AI (Adobe Illustrator) Vector ✓ Preferred Best format. Fully scalable, no quality loss at any size.
EPS Vector ✓ Preferred Industry standard vector format. Works with all print methods.
PDF (print-ready) Vector/Raster ✓ Preferred Include bleed and crop marks for business cards and print products.
PNG Raster Accepted Minimum 300 DPI at print size. Transparent background preferred.
JPG/JPEG Raster Accepted Minimum 300 DPI at print size. No transparency support.
PSD (Photoshop) Raster Accepted Send with all layers intact and at 300 DPI.

Common Artwork Mistakes to Avoid

⚠️ Watch Out For These

  • Sending low-resolution files (under 300 DPI) — results in blurry prints
  • Using RGB color mode for commercial print (should be CMYK)
  • Forgetting bleed on business cards and banners
  • Sending raster files for embroidery (vector is required for best results)
  • Tiny text or thin lines in embroidery designs (minimum 0.25 inch)
  • Not specifying print location or size
  • Sending a screenshot or photo of a logo instead of the original file

Submission Options

  • Email (small files under 10MB): Attach directly to sean@printzondeck.com or printzondeck@gmail.com
  • Large files (over 10MB): Use Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer and share the link
  • Via contact form: Use the contact form and include a file link or description
  • No artwork yet? Describe your design and we'll quote design services along with printing
